Drawn to knitting, sewing, and photography informed by notions of wilderness and survival, she creates installations that question constructs of gender, offering alternative narratives of femininity within her work. Since graduating with a BFA from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2012, Buzzee has enjoyed a nomadic studio practice with exhibitions and residencies in Canada, the United States, Finland and Iceland.
